    If I am looking for a file,say FILE 4, HOW DO i DO a search on this. Typing in FILE 4 will give me File 1, File 2,etc. I’ve tried typing in FILE_4
    but still no good. Any help.

      Ill go to the ADVANCE SEARCH OPTION where i can filter my search. Like Include Match Case of Exact Case. That kind of option where can find in the advance option…

      You can try using file*.* to search for anything with file as part of the name. But from what you’re saying here if file 4 was on the computer then it would have found it. If it’s a hidden or system file that may be why it doesn’t show. You need to set your folder options to show all files.

      You can do this from a DOS prompt. type in the following commands, hit enter after each line

      cd\

      dir file*.* /s /a

      I believe that you can use the same search syntax that you use in search engines.

      So, if you went with +file +4
      or “file 4”
      you should get just the one file.
