Search for Computers

OK here goes, I have two pc’s that run Windows 2000 Pro that can NOT find computers when I search by IP address. I get the message Search Complete there are no results to display. This works on all our other Win2K pc’s except for these 2. I can ping with no problem, I have tryed blowing away the nic card and reinstalling, that didn’t help. I also blew away Microsoft Networking and reinstalled. No help. Has anyone ever seen this problem? Does anyone know a fix? What am I missing?

Just a little more info: I am logging on to the network with no problem and I can ping.
