search woes

Hello,

I have Windows 2000 server evaluation copy. My taskbar freezes after I go to Start–>Search–>For files and folders…
This problem started today after a search for a file and deleting a few windows at a fast rate.

I have run Ad-aware and Norton. I also tried to repair it using my Server CD.

I don’t mind re-installing but I would like to know how to fix this problem just in case this ever happens to me in out in the field.
