search2web hijack

my windows xp is hijacked with this. I cant get internet access. IE keeps flashing search2web sites. I used everything to clean adaware spybot etc etc hijackthis...
I reinstalled IE! I reinstalled windows xp. The login window has f*ck on it??!!

After exhausitng all options to rid yourself of the spyware and all has failed,backup all important data and wipe the drive using a windows98 startup disk, fdisk the drive and reinstall

No internet access? You've run all the spyware removal tools? Using a popup blocker?

Take it to a good PC Tech.

you can try removing all of the objects in IE. Also, you can browse the registry (only if you know what you are doing) under explorer and IE to help find the culprit.
If you are not very familiar with the windows registry DO NOT attemp to alter anything in there, take it to a technician.

I do use regedit I will try it

after much resesrch i found that the 20 yr old son named the pc f*ck thus the login screen had f*ck on it....
i installed hijackthis and deleted some references that had no named attached to it....this cleared up the problem immediately..and the nice thing is hijackthis is free....thanks to those who had suggestions.

You got infected by installing Messenger Plus! that is loaded with the LOP.COM hijack.
Reboot to safe mode, go to Add/Remove programs and remove it,
Would be worthy of posting HJT log and removing the rest of the crap you get by downloading that ,
