okay- I know I’m supposed to be a pro, but I don’t have a clue what I’m doing with this. My ex bought my daughter a notebook for Christmas; removed and installed her old hd into my PC so that 1) I could get her stuff off, and 2)store music and photos on there.
So far, so good. I can see it as drive E, can move files and folder around wherever, but he said I’d want to remove the OS from the slaved HD and I want to uninstall most, if not all, of the programs there.
I know I’ve done this before, my ex knows I’ve done this before but it’s been a few years and I had a cheat sheet and quite honestly, I’m clueless. If I tell him that I don’t know what I’m doing, he’ll eventually come round and do it for me, but I’d like to do it myself. With, of course, a little help from my friends….
