Secuirty Windows NT 4.0 and IIS 4

By hawksberry ·
I have a Windows NT 4 server with service pack 5 running IIS 4 and Exchange 5.5 with service pack 3 for exchange. I was recently hit with the SunOS/Box virus. What can I do to tighten up security on my server.

1. Download IIS 4.0 Security patch from Microsoft site.
2. Install / apply service pack 6a
3. If having a web site on IIS, change the port from 80 to 8888 (or whatever you feel like), then your site would launch like http://Server_Name:8888
4. Remove option to allow "anonymous" access in IIS - Default & Administration site
5. Hope for the best !!
