Hello folks,
I was wondering if any of you who are not US citizens have had any luck in finding out or getting a security clearance.
I’m a British citizen majoring in Networking w/ E-security in the States and hope to work in the States after my studies are up. My instructor has told me to get on the ball for a clearance as in the future without one, I won’t stand much chance getting a job in the security field.
I’ve tried contacting the British authorities and they only issue a clearance if you work for the secret service.
The US authorities state you must be a US citizen.
Can anyone please shed light on this subject so I can tell myself I am not well and truly buggered?
