OK, this might take a second. I had a Windows2000 sever go down and I have moved active directory to a new Windows2003 server. Everything appeared to be going fine until……I am trying to limit access to a folder on the desktop of a set of computers. However, I am not able to add this group to the security permissions on the folder (properties, security, add). The group is found in AD, if I look from the server, however, this group doesn’t appear when I try to add the group, and as such I am unable to add permissions. As near as I can tell, all other security groups can be added without a problem. Any suggestions?
