Security on File Folders

By edward_majerczak ·
I have Folder-A containing subfolders Folder-1, Folder-2, Folder-3, Folder-4

How can I secure Folder-2 to be viewed by certain
users while providing the capability for all other users to view Folder-1, Folder-3, Folder 4

Any help would be appreciated.

To secure access to data of this nature - or even applications, consider the Keydrive Solution from Portable Add-ons. If you have nt/2000/xp you can do the following:
Right click on the folder that you want to restrict access to and go to the security tab. This tab had two parts, on the top you see the users/groups who have access to the folder, at the bottom you see the permissions that the users/groups have on the folder.
If you want to restrict a group/user from a folder or file just change the permissions they have on the folder.
