Has anyone run into this before –
I just installed a new Win2003 Server at a client site. The client machines are all Win2000 and who knows what kind of history.
I set up their local “My Documents” to be redirected to a folder on the server.
All had been running fine for a week. Then today, I got two calls that the user could not access his own documents. I checked permissions and found that the Security permissions on the files only had the administrator rights. The users’ permissions were gone as if they were deleted.
The strange thing is that this happened to me at another client as well.
Is this some sort of virus or a known problem? Both clients are running Trend Micro antivirus programs.
