Security risk at Techrepublic.com

This is not a ?bash techrepublic.com? article. I like techrepublic.com and visit them almost everyday. It?s a good site. I just would like to see this issue resolved as it could affect my account and yours.
If you login to the site, near the bottomof the homepage there will be a section that says ?My Picks?. Lets say you really like one of these articles and you send it to a friend, co-worker, or an associate, who is also a techrepublic.com member and not logged into the site at the time he or she receives the email. That person then receives your email and clicks on the link and goes to that article you sent them. THEY ARE NOW LOGGED IN AS YOU!!! They have access to your account info and could basically do anything you could do. A co-worker of mine discovered this and contacted techrepublic.com about this and their response was: Yeah, we know that, its not recommended sending someone a link like that. Not a good answer! Go ahead and try this out. It works. Help me in getting this resolved.

Thanks,
John
