I am hoping someone can help me with this.
I am a student, My assignment is to create a web Application Project (Visual Studio)
I click on New, then project. When the project window opens I choose Visual Basic Projects and ASP.NET Web Application. In the location area I type http://localhost/Chapter6/Tutorials/CustomerOrders
Now comes the problem. When I click okay I am receiving a HTTP://1.1 403 error. Not authorized. contact administrator. Well, I am the administrator.
My settings in IIS are correct, My root folder is C:\Inetpub\wwwroot, I have read checked Log visits and Index this resource, and Execute Permissions is set to “scripts only.”
I checked under user permissons and mine is set to administrator and debugging
I dont know how to correct this and I need to complete my assignments, can someone guide me in the right direction please?
