Every time I connect a second monitor to my notebook with Intel Extreme Graphics 2, the default extended desktop places the second monitor to the right of my notebook monitor. Unfortunately, my second monitor is to located to the left!!
In the absence of moving my monitor, buying a new desk, or learning to overcome my left-handedness, does anyone know of how to change the default settings for an attached monitor? (registry, some file?) It seems that I’d be able to specify the preferred x,y coordinates of the second monitor in relation to the first. The added benefit of this would also allow me to get an exact scroll of my mouse cursor when moving from one screen to the next.
I’m a strange and picky cat. I hope that someone else has at least thought of this problem, let alone found a solution!
