Seeking USB Drive Synchronization Freeware

I’m looking for the best freeware to synchronize folder/files from my XP hard drive to my USB drive, so that I don’t have to constantly overwrite my USB files. Who out here in TR Land has self-tested such software and can make a good recommendation?
