I have installed a second 40G hard disk in my HP Pavilion 4509, running Windows 98. When I go into Fdisk, to set up the primary partition on the new drive, the program comes back and says that only 80% is available. I have read some of the other questions relating to this issue (eg I can only use 7G of my 40G drive etc). Do I have the same motherboard or BIOS problem?
