“Select File” Dialog : not highlighting the previous selected file

When i am working on autocad or any other softwares , when i do “Select File” / “Open” Dialog for selecting the next file it is not showing me the previous selected file.

And also, “Folder Options” – “Show hidden files & Folder”s option” – When i select this option and “apply” & “Ok” it is not doing it when i open it again it reamins the old type (“do not show” …)
