Self Employment back wages/deductions

by s_rockii . Updated 17 years, 7 months ago

In 2008 I did not work, however a property that my S-corp bought at foreclosure several years earlier was sold. Until it was sold it was rented out and had a minor profit.

Obviously, I did all work related to the S-corp, but there was little to be done.

Is it possible to pay myself a salary for 2008 now in 2009 so that I can deduct my health insurance premiums incurred and paid by me?

I am not sure if I will engage in any consulting activity in 2009 (although this is the most probable way for me to generate income. Should/can I begin paying myself a nominal wage so that the premiums will be deductable next year)s it possible
