send broadcast to users
My manager would like me to implement a pop up message to remind users to record and release their time at log on. I created a batch file with the net send command and put it in the Group policy folder logon area. The actual command I use is "NET SEND * Please remember to enter and release your time". I am new to NT coming from Netware so I only know how to broadcast to the entire network with the "*". I tested the logon and when anyone logs on to the network, it will send a broadcast of the message to all users from the user who logged on. Users did not like this..... Is there a way to point it only to the users logon and not anyone else. Or is there another way to send this message.
thanks,
Rob
