Send console message in server 2003

Dear colleagues,
I have 2 identiacl 2003 servers( standard edition). On one of them I have the option to send console message and on the other, such an option is missing. please how do I eneble it.

DOn't totally understand the option part but by default the messenger service is disabled. open the services.msc and start the messenger service and change it to whatever you like such as automatic. You can then do a net send message to your other machines.

It's almost a year after you made this question. Perhaps, you got the answer. But I had the same problem. It seems that there is a problem. I found this answer. Try it:
type and run this command in command prompt to ad the 'Send Console Message' item to menu.

A simple command will enable it.

Go to a command prompt and type the following:

CD \WINDOWS\SYSTEM32

REGSVR32 SENDCMSG.DLL

Click OK to the message and then type EXIT. It should now appear when you right click on "Shares" in "File Server Management".
