'Populate list box with term/AY descriptions and select closest term.
Screen.MousePointer = vbHourglass

lstMissing.AddItem DataGB.rsTeachersWithClasses("Name") + "
" + DataGB.rsTeachersWithClasses("ID") FileNum = FreeFile
Open "C:\Name.txt" For Output As FileNum
For i = 0 To lstMissing.ListCount - 1
Write #FileNum, lstMissing.LIST(i)
Next
Close FileNum
End If
DataGB.rsTeachersWithClasses.MoveNext

There are several components out on the market that will help you do this, and some of the best are free! The following link will take you to a site for AspEmail, which can be used with Visual Basic programs as well as Active Server Pages.

Another solution involves using MAPI, the Mail Application Programming interface. The following link points to an article discussing the use of MAPI, as well as a sample VB program.
