Send To Mail Recipient Stays in Outbox (cached mode)

Hi All,

A user is using Outlook 2007 SP2 and she is unable to send email attachments when they are attached using SEND TO MAIL RECIPIENT function in WINDOWS XP SP3.

An email stays in OUTBOX and never goes out until I disable cached mode. I cannot disable cached mode as at all. She can attach files using INSERT function in OUTLOOK 2007.

I already had a look at following solution but still same problem: http://techrepublic.com.com/5208-6230-0.html?forumID=101&threadID=212803&messageID=2557010

Any suggestions !

Thanks

Start Control Panel, Add or Remove Programs, Set Program Access and Defaults, Custom, and check that Outlook 2007 is your default e-mail application.

Thanks Jacky,

I checked that too but still no good.

It is really not making sense to me. It works when outlook is running in online mode but doesn't want to work in cached mode.

Cheers !

outlook in safe mode works for me

Problem: sending a file as attachment using SEND TO MAIL Recipient stays in outbox.

If I run outlook in safe mode then outlook
sends email and it doesnt stay in outbook.

I believe there must be some addin which is causing problem but not sure which one.

Cheers !

You've got a bit of work to do

You could disable the addins and re-enable them one at a time to find out which one it is.

Also check these registry locations for third party apps.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\Outlook\Addins

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\Outlook\Addins
