After installing Office 2000 Premium SR1 on Windows 98 (NOT SE) clients I get the occasional reported problem of ‘Send To’ submenu (within File Menu) not working when trying to ‘Send as Attachment’ in Word / Excel / Powerpoint.
EG. Open a new Document in Word 2000, type a few lines and save it to disk. Now click ‘File | Send To | Mail Recipient (As Attachment)’. Mail dialogue is displayed along with attached document. Type in a recipient email address and click send – nothing happens!! However, close this and return to Outlook 2000 and the unsent note is sitting in the Inbox… Now you can double click it and click send – this works…
Anyone had similar problems???
