I’m running sendmail 8.9.3 on a Sun Solaris 7. When Microsoft Outlook Express and/or Netscape Messenger clients running on either Windows NT or Windows 2000 pop3 to sendmail to retrieve e-mails, it takes ages even
though it’s a small file (e.g. 200Kb file). If there’s a bigger attachment like 2MB, then they won’t be able to retrieve their e-mails as the clients will ‘grind to a halt’. Windows 95/98 machines are OK. My question is:-
1. Is there anything that I need/can set in Windows NT, Windows 2000 or sendmail to solve this problem?
