Separate and reuse common elements with ASP.NET components

By MaryWeilage Editor ·
This week's .NET e-newsletter explains how to separate and reuse common elements with ASP.NET components. Is your team already using Web User Controls? If not, do you think you will after reading this tip?

If you aren't subscribed to the free .NET e-newsletter, you can automatically subscribe to it by pasting the following URL into your browser:

Example Files

by WebGuyBob In reply to Separate and reuse common ...

Could somebody post the complete source files (aspx, ascx, ascx.cs) for this so that I have some context from which digest this?

If anybody knows of a good online tutorial for this type of ASP.NET SSI solution, please reply.

TIA,

Bob

Better Tutorial with Examples

Hi, folks.

I finally struck gold after networking with a few net-friends. Here's a great tutorial that I found which specifically addresses using controls in lieu of regular SSIs in your ASP.NET pages. The source is in C#.
