I have created a test lab in VMware workstation 5.5. I have 2008 server as DC, I have a server 2008 with no roles assigned or anything and a XP machine. Whenever I start the XP machine it catches a 10.x.x.x IP address from a DHCP 10.0.0.254. I must go into control panel and stop the DHCP service and restart then it catches an IP address of 192.168.1.102 from the First server I have set up as the DC with DHCP installed and running. addresses of 192.168.1.100 thru 254. Why is the XP machine getting the 10.x.x.x IP address?
