server backup solution?

i am wondering what server backup products are you folks using out there? we're running WIN2K servers...

driveimage? ghost? any suggestions?

Neither DI nor Ghost are good backup need to back something up, not make an image.

I use Veritas Backup Exec and backup everything to an Exabyte Mammoth M2 tape.

Above is correct. If you are backing up servers, you need to do them to TAPE DRIVES. Whether it's dds, dlt, ultrium, etc... Go with the size that can be afforded and needed for capacity.

Images are not a backup and do not properly backup open files and such.

Veritas backup solution along with a tape drive is the best way to go as it also has it's own virus scanner, open file manager, e-mail manager, etc.

sorry... the first thing i need to do besides setting up backup on these servers..but i need a baseline.. so an image is what i need... any help?
