Server crash on backup

Hi,

Am currently experiencing a PDC server crash and dump approx. one minute into carrying out either a backup to magnetic media using ‘veritas backup exec’ or by using a system to system copy program called ‘second copy’. The disks have been checked and scanned for re-allocation of any duff sectors. System appears to be fine if no copying is taking place. Anyone experienced this before please. Many thanks Tony.
