I would suspect either your Array Controller(1st choice) or your Boot Drive is getting ready to fail. Are you running the latest Compaq SSD? 5.40 I think is the latest for 1600's. Usually the Compaq Diagnostics/Management Driver would complain prior to failure.

Are you running in a RAID configuration? Hardware /Software RAID?? What does Disk Administrator say about the Boot Disk? normal or Suspect?

hth,
Nate

Try and check your settings on the raid controller. Is it write-back or write-through. I believe it should be write-through, but I'm not sure about this. Also do a CHKDSK /F on your disk, it should solve the problem with inaccessable bootdevice.
