I am looking into purchasing a new server to upgrade out existing File & Print.
My question involves the hard drives, there are 2 configs involving the speeds.
1 drive config is Hot swappable SCSI 10000RPM and the other config is for
Hot swappable SCSI 15000RPM. The latter drive is twice the price for the
same drive capacity(36GB). Is there a significant difference in data transfer
with the faster harddrive speed, or would it be almost unnoticeable.
I’m also concerned about the price too because I must also allocate
OS license pricing and dont want to over spend on hardware and come up short on Software and licenses.
