I help manage a small network of 3 desktops and 2 laptops connected to a SBS 2003 server. The hard drives failed and the raid controller also and the data is inacessable, but thats not that big of a deal we didn’t lose any critical data (data backup).
My questions is what is the best way to put a new server in place?
I created a domain with the same name as the previous server, but how do I add each computer back to the network. The new server is connected and I’m pulling IPs on the clients, but I can’t connect to the domain at windows startup. Do I need to create users on the server that are identical to the names they used before?
When I add a new user to the server the email alias auto populates as I type the user name, but it doesn’t say @gregsavi.com. Is it a configuration problem in exvchange and how do I correct it? Any helpful articles on exchange server setup?
