The Server service unable to start because of not enough space available,
The PC Configuration - IBM 300GL PIII/550, HDD 10GB, memory 64mb, HDD Free space 8GB.

I 've tried to re-install/configured the NIC and it related Service. But still the problem not solved

To solve this problem, is to re-load NT and configure the NIC, It works.

Are there any alternative and simple solns apart from re-loading NT. Pls Advice

This error can happen when you install/reinstall a nic in an existing machine with out re-applying your service pack. I would suggest trying to re-install whatever service pack level you were at.

Hope this helps you...

HI, Jay is correct. You must reinstall your service pack after each configuration change such as a nic driver load. The most recent service pack is 6a.

As mentioned above, reinstall the NT Service Pack. FWIW, the problem you describe is often causes by an out-of-date "Protected Storage" server. Reapplying the service pack corrects this.

Good luck.
