Server troubles

By quinne_anderson ·
Hi--
At work, we all share a server (aka the F: drive). All of a sudden, my computer will no longer let me save files to the f: drive, because it insists that "The disk is full." When I check My Computer, it does show that it's full. HOWEVER!!! The other computers in our network are NOT having this problem, and their computers read that the f: drive is either 50% or 70% empty.
How can I fix this error??
Thank you!!

Possibly a quota setting

by Churdoo In reply to Server troubles

The server drive where the F: drive maps to, may have a quota setting enabled, and you may have reached your quota on that share.

Talk to whomever admins your server.

Is it a real Server?

by NormH3 In reply to Server troubles

Is your server actually running a server OS, or is this a PC set up to share files?

The other poster has a good suggestion.
