Service accounts

By edcross ·
Is anyone aware of a utility that will run against several servers and indicate which service is using a particular logon account? I have a situation where some services are using the administrator account to logon. I would like to change the Admin account for security reasons. But would like to know ahead which services are using this account to anticipate the scope of the change and plan for it.

I am familar with Hyena, however it would provide a view of one server at a time. I have eighty plus servers and was hoping to find a tool or script that would poll each server and write the info to a file to be analyzed offline.

Hyena and service listings

by kevin In reply to Service

You are correct that Hyena will only show services from one computer at a time. However, the Export facility in Hyena (File->Export) will allow you to export the services from any number of computers at one time into a text file. This is an excellent way to audit which services are running or using a particular account.
