Service control manager error

By wenyahu ·
I have this error in Event Viewer "The following boot-start or system-start driver(s) failed to load:qic157" after I reinstall service pack 6. I reinstall service pack because the Server applet had error ""Could not start the Server service on \\LIWEN. Error 1130: Not enough server storage is available to process this command." The second error is gone after I reinstall SP6, How can I solve the second error?

Service control manager error

Will need a little more information then just the error code to give you a correct answer but here are a could of things that could have happen.

Did you install a new drive in the system? If so they what is happening is you are trying to load a drive that is no longer needed and can change the setting on it to disable.

Basically the qic157 driver is for IDE type of backup devices on the system. Did you remove a backup drive?

If you can email me more information on the problem I might be able to help. What cause the error in the first place? What changed on the system to start the error message to happen?
