Service Management

We are currently running an application called FasTrak that was put out by Core. Core has been bought out and support for FasTrak will be going away. We are looking into replacing FasTrak. What packages do folks recommend? Something that handles Service Call tracking, inventory, billing, time tracking(?), etc...

There's quite a few competitors in this market. Some come more from the technical troubleticketing angle, others more from the organisational/timetracking.

If quality of inventory is important to you, best to have a TT application from a vendor with a broader offering. Like HP OpenView IT Service Desk, or the own offerings from Computer Associates and Tivoli.
But independent apps can also be useful. E.g. in our organisation we use the Peregrine suite of service tools, and 'building' (tailoring the off-the-shelf stuff) a TT and inventory bridge from Tivoli to Peregrine was not that difficult.
