How do you connect to your ISP ?

Dial-up = Upgrade to DSL/Cable

DSL = Upgrade to Cable

Cable = Upgrade to fractional DS1 (T1)

Or start it at 10pm and go to bed.

Click this link to go to the "Windows 2000 Service Pack 4 Network Install for IT Professionals" page. This page has a link where you can download the entire 129MB Service Pack as a SINGLE FILE.
You see, the normal way that people download the Service Pack is to get the Express Install, which only downloads a 400KB file (very small). You double-click this file, and it tells you it is installing the service pack; in reality, it then starts to download the REMAINING 128MB that is needed. So, it takes forever sitting there at the install window.

So, download the whole thing in a single file, then run that. The SP install will take much less time, since it doesn't need to download anything.

hope this helps
