servman parameter changes

By jsaret ·
Hi,

If the following Netware parameters are changed in Servman, does the server have to be rebooted to effect all changes?:

MAXIMUM NUMBER OF INTERNAL DIRECTORY HANDLES
DIRECTORY CACHE ALLOCATION WAIT TIME
MAXIMUM PHYSICAL receive PACKET SIZE (TR)
MAXIMUM PHYSICAL receive PACKET SIZE (EN)
MINIMUM DIRECTORY CACHE BUFFERS
MAXIMUM DIRECTORY CACHE BUFFERS
MAXIMUM CONCURRENT DISK CACHE WRITES
MAXIMUM CONCURRENT DIRECTORY CACHE WRITES
MINIMUM PACKET receive BUFFERS

Thanks.
Jeff

Maybe.

Numbering them from top to bottom, 1, 3, 4, 5 ,6 and 9 can go UP, but not down without rebooting.

Once memory has been assigned to these pools, it cannot be removed without destroying the system's integrity. Adding additional space is no problem though.

Kev.
