While doing a repair install of XP Pro I encountered numerous errors (a 5 page setuperr.log). Any suggestions on the best way to troubleshoot these errors? They mostly seem related to not being able to register the OLE Control C:\WINDOWS\System32\…, and, Setup detected that the system file named [c:\program files\common files\microsoft shared\web server extensions\40… is not signed properly by Microsoft. All the other errors say to use the SFC utility to verify the integrity of the file.
