Set UP WIN XP

I am getting error message when I boot my system, “AUTOCHK program not found – skipping autocheck”, and then it restarts. This is continued even in safe mode, so i tried to repair windows but when I try to repair after few minutes I get a error message ” Setup cannot copy the file: isapnp.sys”

How do I proceed?
