set up Win2k server as LDAP server

By degnan ·
I have been looking and looking on how to set up a Win2k server(in a Win2k domain) as an LDAP server (without using 3rd party software). I haven't found much, and what I have found was for Win2k3, not Win2k. Does anyone now where I can find how-to guides or other resources to go about getting this done?

There are open source projects out there.. i dont think windows has that build in "as a dedicated server" i think you MAY have to go 3rd party..

I have also had a look at this, only a Global Catalog server on a DC can be an LDAP server.
For best results, moving to Windows 2003 is best.
