Is there a way to set Windows 98 policies without having a server (i.e. locally)?

      Hi

You can install the Windows 98 system policy editor by usinf Add/Remove Programs, click the Windows Setup tab, click Have Disk and direct it to X:\Tools\Reskit\netadmin\poledit and select poledit.inf, then click OK. Install both the Policy Editor and the Group Policies.

      Good luck

If you intend to control which programs will run make sure you include poledit as one of the programs.
