    Setting up a OS/2 Server

Anybody know how to set up a OS/2 Server. I could use some help. I have OS/2 2.1 installed but can not figure out how to get it on the network. Is there a way to copy an OS/2 system to another drive across a network? Help please.

AFAIK OS/2 2.1 does not support network installation.

Network installation comes with OS/2 Warp 4.

Please note that OS/2 2.1 and OS/2 Warp 4 comes with some serious problem when you try to install on large hard drives (well, on any hard drive today) You must upgrade your boot dikette even if you preparing a plain installation.

OS/2 is a pig. I doubt anyone could answer an OS/2 question in the alloted 1000 chars! Unless you REALLY NEED to use it, forget it.

It doesn’t sound like anyone in your organisation has the skillset to support it (that’s not a put-down, it’s becoming a rare skill), so I would advise that you look to moving the requirement to NT if possible. It will save a lot of heartache in the not too distant future, believe me!!

      good luck!
