Plenty of you in the TechRepublic community probably have children in school, and these schools have internet presences of varying quality.
Schools often set them up with links to all the faculty’s mailboxes. Some even have areas dedicated for teachers to post homework or other helpful links. However, I’ve seen plenty of outdated pages to convince me that these sites are too hard to use or too inconvenient for school faculty to keep updated.
Does anyone have suggestions for a web publishing platform that is free or cheap, does not require knowledge of HTML and runs on Linux or Windows with or without a database?
Wikis immediately come to mind, but are there other alternatives?
