Setting up a WAN across the Internet

by compjay . Updated 25 years, 11 months ago

I am setting up a WAN across the internet to have acouple of branches connect to our network and login to get drive mappings and/or printer mappings. Each branch has a fast Internet connection. Home Office has 2 NT servers and a Novell 4.1 server. We don’t really need a VPN – the owner is not concerned about security. How can we make the WAN connection act like a local wire? Programs will be installed on each computer and data is stored on the home office servers. Each branch has it’s ownprinter connected to a network print server. We would like the branches to map a home office printer and home office to map a printer at each office. Got any models or concepts that worked for you?
