I am having a tough time setting up exchange 2000 server. I have finally completed the installation, I think. It is being installed on a dedicated machine, the machine is the 2nd server on the network. It is setup as a 2nd domain controller. I thinkmy problems are related to the AD not being relicated to the 2nd server. Under Admin. Sites and Services I created a new NTDS Connection between the servers and when I click replicate I receive the error “DSA operation is unable to proceed because of a DNS lookup failure”. There was also a default connection made under the 1st server thet says “automatically denerated” when I click replicate here I receive the error “RPC Server is not available” I have double checked DNS and can’t seem to find and problems. RPC Service is running. Please help. Thank You.
