What is the correct procedure for setting up a home networking between two computers in the same room. I have just purchased a new computer with Windows XP and wish to connect my old computer which has Windows98 installed and have just installed a Network PCI Card but am not sure of the configurations to get both computers to talk to each other. I need to do this in order to transfer a lot of programs from the old computer to the new one without any hassles.
