Setting up network printer in windows 7 xp mode

connecting a printer through usb, no prob, but a network printer, doesn't work. ip address by default for xp mode is 192, my network is10.

When you setup the port you enter the printers IP address, there is no default.

you get 2 address on 1 computer that has windows 7 with xp mode. windows 7 gets an address, which with mine, it gets my network, which is 10.x.xx.xxx. when you go into xp mode, if you do a ipconfig, you will get a network of 192.168.xx.xxx. so i cannot ping my 10 network, so i cannot install the printer. i am trying to find a way to do it. i tried to install using \\tsclient\10.x.xx.xxx, but didn't work, the only thing i didn't try is doing it that way and mapping to the mac of the printer. The way windows 7 sees xp mode is mapping via \\tsclient.
