Ok here goes…
At work we have about 20 pcs set up in a peer to peer network, using a dedicated pc as a server. We are running on Windows 98. We would like to use Outlook to email each other and for sharing the calendars. What’s confusing is all the talk about exchange server. Is it possibly to set this up with what we have? Our tech guy talked to someone from Microsoft who said we needed to purchase exchanger server and lisences for all users and we needed Windows 2000 or NT, it won’t work on Windows 98. I’m not a network person but I want to make sure … because if we have to purchase all that we won’t be able to do it. Does anyone have any suggestions????
