setting up removeable SATA HD in SBS2003

by mikewbc . Updated 21 years, 9 months ago

I am setting up a SBS2003 server and want to use removeable SATA in Kingwin tray and housing for back-up. I finally got everything formatted ok, but everytime I remove the Drawer, I get an Pnp error that says that “device disappeared from the system without first being prepared for removal. It also gives an ftdisk error “system failed to flush data to the transaction log. corruption may occur. SATA is supposed to be hot swappable. Disk are set-up as basic disk because when I had them as dynamic everytime I changed disk it was reconized as a foreign disk and I had to initilize it.
