Setting up Virtual Folder

by jdardard . Updated 15 years, 8 months ago

I’m using IIS 7 for my “localhost” server to develop and test ASP applications and pages. So far, most features work fine, but some features (as I understand) need a virtual folder. When trying to create one according to instructions in my many texts, the creation effort fails. I’ve had some success using normal folders while using Dreamweaver CS4 as my editor, but Dreamweaver seems to be alergic to ASP objects! Any help from anyone will be greatly appreciated. I really wish Microsoft Visual Studio 10 would include support ASP as well as ASP.NET., C#, C++, etc. That would probably solve all my problems and would be so great…

Thanks,
